The Vikings came out pumped up in their first game of the season.  The girls brought their sticks and scored a whopping 10 runs over El Dorado who did score one earned run in the 6th.  Carly Mortensen took the circle and pitched a complete game giving up 6 singles and striking out 9.

Offensively the Vikings had 12 hits, 4 doubles by Lauren Boser, Shannon Fitzgerald and Justine Sibthorp and a 2 run homer courtesy of Madison Shipman.

The Vikings play Oxnard High School at home Monday 3/8.
