Carrie Mitchell
Assistant Varsity Coach
Carrie Mitchell is starting her second year as Assistant Coach.
After graduating from Valencia in 2000, Coach Mitchell continued her education at California Lutheran University. While starting for 4 years, she received 1st and 2nd Team Honors and was up for All-American her senior year.
In 2004, she earned her B.S. in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine and was awarded Female Athlete of the year.
After Graduation she stayed at CLU and served as assistant softball coach for 2 years.
Currently, Coach Mitchell is teaching Physical Education at Rio Norte and working on her Clear Credential.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with close friends and family, playing slow-pitch and going to the beach.
