2008 Team Outlooks

Varsity Season Outlook

The 2008 Lady Vikings are looking for their eighth consecutive Foothill League Title.  The 2007 was an incredible season for the Valencia Softball team.  They were named National Champions and California State Champions.  They won the CIF Division I Championship and won their 7th straight Foothill League Title.  The Vikings overall record was 32 – 1 and 10 – 0 in Foothill League play.

The 2008 Lady Vikings will be lead by their four returning seniors; three of which have made college commitments.  Along with a strong senior class, the Vikings also return a very talented group of juniors and sophomores, and a fabulous freshman class.

The Vikings pre-season schedule is one of the strongest in California and the Vikings are taking their tough schedule one game at a time.  “We cannot overlook any team”, said Coach Lee.  The Viking’s team goal is to win their eighth Foothill League Title and win the C.I.F Division I Championship.

Come out and support the VIKINGS’ on their quest!!!
